My ideal client is someone who values the art of photography and understands why it is necessary to spend quality money on a portrait artist that fits their favorite aesthetic.

You may ask yourself “Why would I spend $500 here when I can spend $100 there?” – The difference lies in many factors, all important. Are they a legal business? Are they insured? Are they experienced and knowledgeable in what they do? Do you receive products that are valuable and worthwhile to you and the memories you want to create for your family? What kind of experience do you want? How do the photographer’s overall style and vision translate to what you want to display in your home? All of these questions are important when choosing the right photographer for your family!

My style is organic, artistic, timeless, and uplifting. I love to create a more beautiful version of the world around us. You won’t find me with a ton of props or busy setups, as I prefer to photograph people and not setups. I love the natural colors of the world around us and so I use them in my work and don’t hide all the beautiful hues that we get to see on a daily basis. My overall goal for your session is to make the experience feel comfortable and easygoing. Natural- golden hour light is my favorite, so you will probably hear that from me as we discuss the perfect time for your session!

Every photograph you will receive is hand-designed, and hand-chosen by me with exceptional attention to detail. I don’t batch edit or edit every photo to look exactly like the previous one, I treat every image as a piece of art because that’s what your family deserves to display in your home.

The experience and atmosphere I want to provide for my clients are one of relaxation. I want my clients to feel as though they are present to have fun, giggle, and be nothing other than themselves. Don’t stress over how your children behave, if your husband will cooperate, or your body isn’t perfect. Life isn’t perfect. Kids may scream, storm off, cry or refuse to be part of the photos, but it’s okay, we will get there! With patience and understanding, it can be done! I will guide you with wardrobe and anything I have available in my wardrobe is available for client use!

Everyone is a client at some point, including me, so I know the value of being well taken care of and valued authentically. We have all had exceptional customer service, and we have all experienced horrible customer service. My utmost promise is to provide exceptional service to every family that I meet. My goal is for families to go home with gorgeous images to display, whether that be loose prints or large wall galleries! Nothing feels more detached or impersonal to me than handing my client an online gallery and essentially that being the end of our experience together. I never want the beautiful memories of your family to be stored on a computer or simply forgotten about.

My philosophy has always been quality over quantity. I would much rather deliver 8 exceptional images than an overwhelming 50 images. Why? Let’s be honest, you’re never going to display all 50 images on your wall, in a frame, or on your work desk. You always end up with your few standout favorites and those are the ones you will choose to display all over your home and bring to work to show all your coworkers! I would rather deliver images you can display and view in your home, rather than have you invest your money in 40 images you never see. Less is truly more in this case!
