The weekends are the best time to allow the quietness to surround you and the week’s stresses to melt away. One of the ways that I love to do this is by spending time in nature. Hearing the songbirds, the noise of moving water, the leaves rustling, and the breeze make me feel rejuvenated. Nature is also where I work because it’s where I feel inspired. A studio doesn’t do that for me, so I take my passion outdoors rain, shine, or snow. When I can watch a child explore nature and the world with so much wonder, it reignites my soul.

Their curiosity about the littlest things fascinate me because I remember that must have been me at some point. Of course, I still question things all the time, but not with that same innocence and wonder as a child does. When do we lose that? Hmm, its sad to think that their minds may not always be so innocent, but that’s the journey of life.

My heart and soul find their peace when I get to spend time with each child and see what they are drawn to. Its the part of my job that will never change because I don’t allow it to. I will always photograph what inspires me. Thank you for allowing me to have a glimpse into your child’s world.
